South India Cultural Tour Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kochi

Arrive at Kochi Airport and transfer to your hotel. After rest, begin sightseeing with Fort Kochi’s highlights, including the famous Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church, and Mattancherry Palace.
In the evening, stroll through Jew Town with its antique shops and visit Paradesi Synagogue. You may also enjoy a Kathakali dance performance before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Kochi.

Day 2 Kochi to Munnar (130 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Munnar through scenic routes filled with waterfalls, tea estates, and spice gardens. On arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax.
In the evening, visit the Tea Museum or simply walk through markets selling fresh spices and homemade chocolates. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 3 Munnar Sightseeing

Spend the day exploring Munnar’s famous attractions. Visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Continue to Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake.
In the afternoon, stroll through sprawling tea gardens and enjoy panoramic views of the Western Ghats. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 4 Munnar to Thekkady (90 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, head towards Thekkady, a town famous for its spice plantations and wildlife sanctuary. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.
Later, enjoy a spice plantation tour where you can learn about cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and more. Evening offers optional activities like martial arts shows or cultural performances. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 5 Thekkady Wildlife Experiences

Begin the day with a boat ride on Periyar Lake, where elephants, wild boars, and birds can be spotted along the forested banks. The peaceful ride through Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is a highlight of the trip.
In the afternoon, you may opt for bamboo rafting, nature walks, or simply enjoy leisure time in the green surroundings. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 6 Thekkady to Alleppey Houseboat (140 km / 4 hrs)

Travel to Alleppey, the “Venice of the East.” Board a traditional houseboat for an overnight cruise. As the boat glides through canals and lagoons, you’ll see village life, coconut groves, and paddy fields.
Fresh Kerala-style meals are served onboard, and the evening offers a magical sunset view over the backwaters. Overnight stay on the houseboat.

Day 7 Alleppey to Kovalam (160 km / 4.5 hrs)

Disembark from the houseboat after breakfast and drive to Kovalam, Kerala’s famous beach destination. Check in at your hotel and spend the afternoon relaxing by the sea. In the evening, stroll along Lighthouse Beach or indulge in an Ayurveda massage for relaxation. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 8 Kovalam & Excursion to Trivandrum

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading to Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala. Visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Napier Museum, and the Zoological Park.
Return to Kovalam by evening and spend your time enjoying beachside cafes or water activities. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 9 Departure from Trivandrum
